A - Our Company is Comedian owned and operated. Through performing as a Stand-up Comedians, our team has developed connections with virtually every Stand-up Comedian in Canada. As a result we are able to hire comedians for every budget, audience size and comedic sensibilities. We are also able to focus our shows to suit any interest group (women’s groups, LGBTQ2, people with disabilities, etc)
q - Where do your comedians come from?
A- Our comedians come from all over the country! We use professional comedians who have performed all over the world. The one thing they all have in common is that they will go anywhere to do a show!
q - Where can you book shows?
A - Shows can easily be booked on any date, anywhere in Canada. Contact us about specific information about shows anywhere else. We work with comedians who have performed worldwide.
q - How much does it cost to put on a show?
A - We can book a show for literally every budget. But please understand, you get what you pay for. If you have a limited budget, we would look at options that would provide you with a show with more affordable acts or less acts. To ensure a better show, visit our promotions page for ideas to generate a buzz for your show and raise funds to allow you to increase your budget.
q - do we have to pay anything before the event?
A - For Fundraising Shows and other shows where a door deal is negotiated, Spiky Ball Live Comedy takes the risk and incurs the up front cost of marketing and promotion, ticketing (if required) and equipment rental (if required). The only cost would be the printing of physical posters or flyers, if you choose to do that.
For all other bookings, our full fee is due on the day of the event.
